A powerful new release that expands the emotional range of Fabio Capri
Los Angeles, CA —
Rising artist, Fabio Capri opens 2026 with “Trampa,” a track that marks a fresh direction in his evolving sound. Sitting within the new wave of Latin pop and influenced by Regional Mexican music, this single stands apart from his previous releases with its slower tempo and piano-driven arrangement, highlighting a more intimate and reflective side of the artist. “Trampa” is now available on all streaming platforms.
On “Trampa,” Capri explores the emotional weight of an unbalanced relationship, giving everything to someone who cannot reciprocate the same level of care or commitment. Co-written by Capri, the song’s stripped-back production and prominent piano allow his voice and the vulnerability in the lyrics to take center stage, creating a poignant and heartfelt listening experience.
The single follows a notable 2025 for Capri, when he released his first EP, “Legó Navidad,” which included reimagined versions of beloved holiday classics such as “Feliz Navidad,” “Last Christmas” and “Navidad Sin Ti.” Capri also toured with Xavi on the U.S. leg of the “X Tour,” gaining exposure to new audiences and building momentum that continues into 2026.
Next month, Capri will continue to join Xavi as a special guest for the Mexico leg of the tour, starting in Monterrey and traveling to multiple cities. He will perform “Trampa” live alongside his previously released music, reaching new audiences and expanding his fanbase.
“Trampa” marks the beginning of a new creative phase for Fabio Capri, who is currently in the studio working on upcoming releases set to roll out throughout the year.
