Editorial Note — Soraya Alcalá

I received an advance courtesy copy of Los Golpistas (The Coup Plotters), which allowed me to read the novel directly and appreciate Jaime Bayly’s sharp, provocative exploration of political power and the turbulent history behind Latin America’s coup attempts. His voice remains bold, incisive, and unmistakably his own.
